For instance, tech can help take the government out of areas such as communications, payments, even employment. With tech you can cut of the middleman which is often the government. This goes for publishing and education. Tech allows Chinese to bypass censorship, modern samizdat, capital controls and so on. That said
these guys in this video and even the people I've met who preach this aren't generally actually advancing these ideals but instead supporting chaos.
Tech also allows all of those things to become worse, we see that happening right now with censorship. Strictly speaking, anarchism is only possible in theory. No anarchist is actually against the abolition of government. They either want to be the status quo themselves, or they genuinely want a "survival of the fittest" environment.
That's what the "lack" of a government will get you. There will be no actual lack, it'll just be the law of nature. The fittest will survive, primarily by preying on the less fit. What separates humans from the rest of the animals is that we recognize that the life of the less fit has some value beyond being fuel for the more fit.
All these morons crying about getting rid of police don't seem to realize that all that does is turn literally everyone into "police". So the uniformed officer that represents the neutral law no longer exists? Great. While I agree with a lot of what you say, I've met idiots that actually call themselves anarchists or anarcho this or that. Their own personal definitions are different and they know that but they wear the name anarchist bc they're edgelords. Still one good idea that a subset of them promote is the liberalization of things through technology. For instance, tech can help take the government out of areas such as communications, payments, even employment. With tech you can cut of the middleman which is often the government. This goes for publishing and education. Tech allows Chinese to bypass censorship, modern samizdat, capital controls and so on. That said these guys in this video and even the people I've met who preach this aren't generally actually advancing these ideals but instead supporting chaos.
Tech also allows all of those things to become worse, we see that happening right now with censorship. Not saying that we shouldn't improve technology, but at least from what I've seen, many "anarchists" or "libertarians" seem to either never consider or conveniently forget the double-edged sword that many of their ideas are. The problem with a lot of these issues is that government becomes involved because of the need of a neutral arbiter that carries a big stick.

Green shirt was one of the guys protecting the gas station, heard they were tearing up a car dealer/repairshop/where I think they parked their cars. Got chased by little asshole and had to defend himself, then trying to get back to the gas station he fell, was jumped, and again defended himself against a mob that said "get his ass" and had started to pound him.
