Trope. Some people do. Some people go into shock. Some realize the instinct kicked in and it doesn't bother them. Not being a tough guy but after Afghanistan it doesn't bother me one bit. Kill or be killed. If they chose to fight and lost, that's their loss. Not mine. Should've trained harder and wished for more luck.
