I don't know much about Wisconsin. It seems there is no 'stand your ground' law, but there is also apparently no duty to retreat unless you provoke the confrontation, based on court rulings that have been passed down. There's also a self-defense statute.
So, unless he provoked the initial violence, which judging by the video, doesn't seem to be the case as the guy was attacking and running up on him from behind, it seems he'll have adequate grounds for self-defense. Then the mob was chasing him as he was retreating, and they attacked him when he was on the ground after he tripped. So that seems pretty clear cut self-defense as well.
without stand your ground it goes to duty to retreat.. sure looks like he was running from the aggressors to me! This may just start a discussion on stand your ground in WI though!

Not according to what I'm reading about it. There has apparently been court rulings that demonstrate there is no duty to retreat if you did not provoke the confrontation. And again, there is also a self-defense statute that authorizes use of force and even lethal force, if there is adequate cause.
I'm pretty sure that preceding lethal force in "non stand your ground jurisdictions", if there is opportunity to retreat regardless that must be the first option

Let's be honest, it depends on how dirty the DA's are, seems only our side is being prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and then some.

Go read the self-defense statute in Wisconsin.
Yeah we will see how it plays out. No idea what happened before we see him running down the street and someone saying “get his ass”
From the videos I've seen, it appears he was attacked from behind, and his attacker was shot in the head. The mob begins chasing him afterward.
People also need to remember that jury invalidation is a thing.
