Always tries to make me watch on a fake news channel. Same with the RNC convention, you have to specifically type in "Republican National Committee" to get to their channel. It won't autofill or remeber your preference.

Corporations that pay for advertising on content, corporations filled with boards controlled by teachers union retirement funds like CalPERs, that have explicitly made activism part of their agenda. Even if nobody intentionally watched CNN they have the resources to force their way in front of you, like in airports...
But where do you get information? Twitter at least for now has a rich diversity of people - depends on who you follow - I hate have turmoil swirling around and not knowing what's happening - if you read enough people you can approximate "truth" I know twitter is dirty but I need it.

The worst violence is removed from big tech because it is "too graphic" so it gets memory holed and ignored by MSM.
The low level violence is deemed unworthy of coverage.
