The absence of police in these videos is disturbing.
The rules that prevent people from taking the law into their own hands are predicated on the idea that police/professionals are present to administer justice professionally.
But when police are nowhere to be seen and rioting is occurring, allowance must be made for citizens to protect life and property in a similar manner to what police should be doing.
I’m not criticizing police, they can’t be everywhere at once and are being tied back by lib mayors. But the rules that restrict citizens from policing/protecting must be loosened if the police cannot do their job and maintain order and civility.
