I evened you to zero with an upvote. You were incorrect. It’s 223/556 or 300 most likely. Everyone saying 556 is assuming 556 because it’s an AR. They are likely right. But this kid seems pretty well practiced and i wouldn’t be surprised if he had a .300.
It definitely appears to be an AR-15, but (as you said) probably impossible to know the caliber without actually getting hands on with the gun. I was unaware until today that 5.56 could cause wounds that devastating.
I was considering building something like a 300 blk AR15 pistol, but if 556 does that, there's apparently no need to.
What kind of gun did that to his arm?
5.56.
An AR, there's lots of video going around with him finding out
Is that like a fully semi automatic assault rifle?
Totally fully semi.
Semi automatic assault machine gun
Nope.
I'm assuming shotgun/buckshot
This place is turning into reddit. Correct me if I'm wrong, respectfully, instead of having a down vote temper-tantrum.

I feel like getting really pedantic over 8 thousandths of an inch right now.

Why say anything if you haven't bothered to have any real information - especially when it's out there.
This. No excuse to be ignorant, saying nothing is easier than guessing.
Yep. I'm not a gun expert by any means, so I replied with "I assume", but redditors from reddit, are going to reddit.
It was just based of the little I know of shotguns and skeet shooting.
