The reason for police departments isn't to defend the public. It's to protect the accused from the public. BLM and Antifa are about five months away from finding that out.
Let me try to explain. We're living through a political propaganda psy op right now. It's being run by Democrats, the media, BLM/Antifa and social media.
The purpose of a psy op is not to affect their own allies (Democrats) but to affect the behavior of their enemies (Republicans, conservatives, Christians etc). This Democrat Party psy op is to try to a) demoralize our voters before an election by misrepresenting information while silencing our voice and b) bait us into an over reaction that they can use to spin their narrative. They are hoping and praying some city like Kenosha gets flooded with Proud Boy types that will make the streets run red with blood. Then, they will use the media, the politicians and social media to push the "Boogaloo" narrative and blame it on Trump.
We need to sit back and eat popcorn for another five months. Cold Anger. Take it to the ballot box (vote in person) and keep red pilling those who you can but by no means, let the Cold Anger turn hot. Not yet. There's a time and place for everything. We win when we get the timing, the place and the circumstances right.
If you believe that we are in a cold civil war, which I do happen to believe, we are not sacrificing our cities. The cities in which the unrest is taking place are run by Democrats. They have Democrat mayors, Democrat city councils, Democrat Governors and it's their own Democrat officials who are refusing to ask for help, allow help or support law enforcement. They are putting their own voters in harm's way and their own businesses in harm's way. That doesn't hurt us and it doesn't help them. 1) It causes the Democrats and progressives in those cities to re-evaluate their support for Democrats. 2) it destroys their own small business base from which they derive the majority of their taxes. 3) It drives out the saner population which lowers their census numbers and may cost them house seats and electoral votes. 4) They become evidence for our position that Democrats do not govern wisely or responsibly. We can turn their psy op into our victory without lifting a finger. Do not interrupt your enemy when making a mistake. Furthermore, if you're one of those types who think we are on the bring of a hot civil war and that's what's needed to stop this nonsense - the Democrats are destroying their own strongholds. They're doing it better than an aerial bombardment campaign could do it. Yes, I feel sorry for good people caught up in this but they voted for who they voted for and I do not have the power to tell them who to vote for or to tell their elected officials how to govern. Neither do you and that's what it would take to not "sacrifice the cities". We are better than them. We aren't sacrificing the cities. They are.
