This is only semi-true. In federal court self defense must be disproven by the prosecution. In state courts the state is permitted to legislate the shifting of the burden of proof to the defendant if they raise self defense. So this is gonna depend on state law.
The only people who will claim to not see it as self defense are being dishonest. No way in hell you could watch these videos and see anything different.

When you claim self defense it's on you to prove it. If you're being tried for murder it's on the state to prove it.
