Did he turn himself in? I’m seeing he was arrested in his hometown 30 minutes away in Illinois and charged with first degree murder and fleeing across state lines.
Eye witnesses then said the gunman was allowed to walk past police without getting arrested
So it sounds like he went to the local police, they let him go, he returned home, and then a warrant for his arrest was issued, at which point he voluntarily surrendered himself to his local police department.
I don't know how the criminal complaint against him can claim "(The suspect) fled the state of Wisconsin with the intent to avoid prosecution for that offense," or how he can be labeled a "fugitive" when the article itself mentions that he made contact with local police following the incident and was allowed to leave. Seems like horseshit.

According to that very same article:

Across state lines from Kenosha is like 5 minutes. so... media doing media things again.
It's just libs projecting themselves onto him. That's the game they play.
I know how. DA's don't care about the truth. They charge you with whatever they can and let a judge worry about evidence and facts later.
