They were killed justly, for sure, but they are just brainwashed symptoms of a disinfo campaign geared at using them as pawns in a larger war.
It's just sad seeing our fellow countrymen so brainwashed to where they can no longer make reasonable decisions or understand reality.
When will the people responsible lose their power and be brought to justice? I hope it's soon.
Your "brainwashed" argument is the same one black activists use to excuse the pervasive ignorance, depravity, and general thuggery in black culture. Not buying it. People have brains, and they also have consciences. These anarchists made a series of choices that ultimately lead to their deaths. And while I don't "celebrate" their deaths, I also am not crying any tears over them. People who are such intellectual and moral failures that they have no shred of human decency do not deserve sympathy. I reserve that for their victims.
Didn't you just kind of prove my point?
What was done to black people was the template for this. Compare black communities from back in the day to black communities now. What changed? Fathers were removed and their influence was replaced by brainwashing via govt and media.
Nothing was "done" to black people that they didn't allow to happen. Fathers weren't "removed." Armed police didn't come into black homes and forcibly kidnap all the black fathers. The Democrats enacted policies that made fatherless families more enticing from a financial perspective, and millions of black women opted for money over men. They made that choice; no one forced them into that situation. You're arguing that people can be victims of some larger conspiracy to the point that they lose their ability to think rationally and make wise choices. I'm saying that the only way people can lose their autonomy is if they give it away willingly. You're arguing fate; I'm arguing free will. Only a very small fraction of "victims" are truly victims, and the natural consequences a person suffers as a result of their own stupid decisions and poor choices doesn't make them a victim; it makes them a moron. Be careful about sympathizing with degeneracy: it's that kind of soft, fuzzy thinking that has blurred the hard line between good and evil, and has shoved us into the moral confusion we find ourselves in today.
"You're arguing that people can be victims of some larger conspiracy to the point that they lose their ability to think rationally and make wise choices."
I think this has 100% been affirmed at this point.
I hear ya though and I do agree. My position is not that the individual who falls prey to such deceit is assuaged of any guilt because others deceived them. They earned their consequences, undoubtedly. At the same time it's also possible to say that things did not have to turn out this way for them and likely wouldn't if they weren't subjected to a programming of lies from early childhood onward.
People draw conclusions based on the information they have (and other influences.) The fact that people draw bad conclusions based off bad information is unsurprising and tells where our energy should be focused. This doesn't take responsibility off the individual - they should have done better research - but it does make clear that the problem is one of systems and not of individuals reacting to programming/social influences.
Upvoting for a very civil, well-argued response. Which is becoming rare these days, even here. And I do agree that programming, i.e., education, is a real problem. I'm one of those who believes the Dept. of Ed. needs to be abolished, that all schools must become privatized, and that education dollars should be given to the child, not the school.
