The gun lobbies better be showing up for this kid. If a public crowd funding can be done as well to give him multiple top notch lawyers.

crowd funding will have to be done by some non-compromised method, i.e. not gofundme etc.

gofundme would shut it down if it were for a conservative, they've done it before

they do. Someone or other contacts them and threatens them (they never say who) and then they say something or other about credit agencies or banks and bam its gone.

If he didn't run across state lines it would be much easier to defend his case.

Edit: fact checks now show he didn't run.

True. Wish the guy informed police. Probably freaked out. No one wants to shoot someone, but if it's your life or theirs.. well..

Here's what I've read:

He did inform them. He dialed 911 and told them about the first shooting, the police asked him to make his way to where they were. He was in the process of doing that when he fell down and started getting attacked and shot the two other dudes. Then you see him get up and start walking towards the police as the police were coming towards him. The video stops there, but I would have to believe the police detained him and then let him go. Only after the fact, when he's in his home, do they press charges.

This! Under extreme provocation and danger this lad continues to try to follow lawful behaviour. This is a test case for the 2nd Amendment. Get the best defence lawyer in the land Now!

Sounds like that's why he isn't charged with fleeing as far as I can tell. Seems the police failed their DD on that front.

How can someone help this kid and make sure he isn't "made an example of" with an unjust sentence?

Hopefully Barnes.

I don't know if Robert does criminal and frankly, I wouldn't want anyone but a criminal defense specialist.

He needs a Barnes like criminal defense attorney.

This is one of the things that I think Barnes sees that many others don't. This isn't a criminal trial, it's a political one. At the very least Barnes should be on the shortlist of people to call to find someone able to handle a political trial. You are spot on that a Barnesesque lawyer is required, a goddamn warrior, fuck, can someone get Don Jr a bar examination in California, Virginia, Vermont, or Washington? He seems like he'd go all out.

It is a 100% criminal charge and therefore a criminal trial.

I disagree, either way I would rather have Sydney Powell.
