He did inform them. He dialed 911 and told them about the first shooting, the police asked him to make his way to where they were. He was in the process of doing that when he fell down and started getting attacked and shot the two other dudes. Then you see him get up and start walking towards the police as the police were coming towards him. The video stops there, but I would have to believe the police detained him and then let him go. Only after the fact, when he's in his home, do they press charges.

True. Wish the guy informed police. Probably freaked out. No one wants to shoot someone, but if it's your life or theirs.. well..

Sounds like that's why he isn't charged with fleeing as far as I can tell. Seems the police failed their DD on that front.
