That said, I think any death is unfortunate. Naturally, I'd prefer to see people straighten out their misguided lives. But quite frankly, I believe the people who were shot went looking for it. Their personal history seems awfully predictive of their present circumstances.

The guy who just got shot in the arm has a second chance. He is not dead. Do you think he values it? What do you think he'll do with it? My guess is, he'll try play the victim and try to cash in.
