I believe you have to be 18 to open carry in WI. I think you also need to be 18 to own a long gun, unless it's for the purposes of hunting. That's my interpretation of the WI gun laws that came up on searches after I read that Kyle was 17.

I did read the laws and provided my interpretation of them. I also stated I didn't live in WI and asked to be corrected if my interpretation was erroneous.

This is more proof that if you’re going to protect American values and livelihood in a blue city or state, you must be willing to defend from being detained by the police.
They are complicit in enabling rioting and destruction while actively using their power to intimidate and prosecute the righteous.
Those cops are also the enemy as is the DA, the sheriff and the representatives in local government.

Read the laws. They are not straightforward. Bottom line he could carry, as long as it is not a short-barreled shotgun or rifle.
There will be implications of course. He is from Illinois, action took place in WI.

I think the drinking age in WI is 21.
