Never understand why people all about law and order just blanket shit on HoAs. It's like any regulatory body, some are shit, some are good. But guess what... You can choose to live there or not. I don't mind my HoA, because I actually agree with the rules. And they are reasonable rules, basically guidelines for lazy morons on how to keep your property looking nice.
And furthermore, my HoA bans political signs. Fine! My home is my sanctuary, the place I come to rest. It is the last place on earth I want to be forced into political issues. When I drive down my steet, I see nice grass, clean yards, and American flags. I don't need to see political shit EVERYWHERE I look.
My sister lives in one. They have their own police and fire department. I know she can fly the US flag, but no other. My thought process is, if they relaxed the rules then she would have to look at the BLM, Pride, and every other crap political flag. 🤮
