The site is not letting me upload or post images?

I have tons of memes stored up but for the last month I havent been able to post any. When i upload a photo for a post and it finishes it shows an (X) over the image? Why? Thank you Pedes in advance.

When I've seen the X I've had luck reducing the image size.

Not a techie; techies are free to laugh at me. I can take it. I wear a Trump MAGA scarf in the Seattle area.

It took me a bit to get images to upload. (1) Saved a .doc as a .pdf and (2) Converted the .pdf to a .jpeg (using free online Chrome Converter Suite). Then images uploaded easily.
