We continue to give attention to looters, corrupt politicians, and criminals. Why not just either stop giving them attention or do something drastic? The longer we let this go on, the steeper the consequences. What ever happened to good vs. evil?

We are not doing anything nor should we. The local politicians though their respective police forces are the ones that should be mitigating the situation. That they are failing in that duty means the local populace needs to remove them. The rule of law is to prevent any descent into vigilante justice. The wisconsin governor has just cried uncle and asked for federal assistance and national guard to stop it. That is what should have happened days ago.
