I wonder if it is timing. One of Bidens tax plans is a receipts tax where you pay 15% on sales even if you have losses. I figure that was targeted at Trump and would be coordinated with releasing his taxes.

With Dems, who the hell knows. And a receipt tax passing is time for Boston Tea Party 2.

That would be incredibly destructive. That would jump prices on everything up to 15% and simultaneously discourage investments in expansions, large projects, new machinery, etc.

I hate how the private sector is forced into an ever-evolving pivot competition to keep the government's hand out of their pocket.

Biden would be an economic wrecking ball. This would move R&D and investment offshore. On top of that he rolls back the tax cuts so we are less competitive internationally. Then he bans fracking so we have to import natural gas from Russia and Qatar, etc. Whoever he's working for, it isn't the U.S. people.

Joe Biden's plan to raise taxes on corporations and wealthy households would increase federal revenue by $4 trillion

Biden's clean-energy plan: increasing spending to $2 trillion over a four-year period.

You don't get tax money when the companies leave and don't make money. Trumps cuts have brought an additional 1T back in so far. I have lost a job before because of development moved overseas. We have large corps here that have become foreign corps because of taxes. With energy, the California blackouts are what we are headed for with his plan. Even Germany uses natural gas in its green energy plan. Biden is just appealing to greed, envy and resentment to get elected.
