But on a different note, alcoholics would say they can't function without alcohol. Everyone is different, but I took non-prescribed Adderall for a long time until it started to interfere with my life and it was tough to stop doing. Some people like you friend may need it...I don't know, I'm not a doctor. But some people take it who would be better off not taking it (like I was).
