Thanks. I watched all the videos and tried to piece that together. I believe it was a water bottle that got lit up by the lights - not a Molotov.
Even if that guy was saying 'shoot me' - did Kyle do anything that could be viewed as him being an aggressor? His whole case will likely depend on that. Anything threatening? He was running away, so that will help him a ton, but if they have any video of him starting something, it is going to be a rough time.
If any video of his initial confrontation with the bald 'shoot me nigga' guy exists, I haven't seen it. That said, Rittenhouse doesn't seem to have been an aggressive guy - besides him remaining calm & disciplined enough to only shoot people who directly attacked him (and in the case of the Glock medic, not killing someone who feigned surrender before trying to murder him at point-blank), he was interviewed before the fights and was level-headed, demonstrating no racism, bloodthirst or intent to start/get into fights. I haven't seen anything that I could base a 'he was probably the first one to get aggressive and violent' character judgment on, at all.
He domed a guy in a parking lot. Said other guy had been chasing him, threw something (Molotov?) at him, and had reportedly been part of a smaller mob smashing up & looting cars or something when first confronted by the armed teenager. Shortly (perhaps even immediately) before the fatal clash, the 'victim' was caught on camera shouting 'shoot me nigga, bust on me for real' as well.
This directly caused the mob to chase him and everything that follows.

I agree. Here is one of the videos of that guy saying that: https://twitter.com/MarkDice/status/1298520614727114752
Not sure how quickly the first shooting happened after that. Assume it wasn't too long after.
