It looks like he tried to turn himself in, but cops weren't interested? Maybe he just went home.

My guess is they had no idea he was the shooter. It happened far away from them.

And in what world does the shooter walk slowly, towards the police, hands in the air.

They probably saw him, immediately said "not a threat" and focused on what was going on down the street which is where they thought the danger is.

That's just a guess.

Agreed. We can't act like police omniscient. Kenosha was total chaos that night. By no count would they think this kid was a threat to civilization by his behavior.

He wasn’t and isn’t a threat to civilization. He was a threat to anarchy.

Maybe the cops were willing to just look the other way and hope for the best but I can't imagine they actually would.

This seems like the most likely thing. We don't know what happened because the video cuts right there, but he's definitely trying to turn himself in and they seem less interested in him than the dude on the ground. So he went home.

it looks like they didnt know he was the one. i mean just a mass of people. and he was standing in the road with his hands up... like all the dumb ass protesters.

Thought he was one of them "demonstrating". Thought nothing of it.
