Nope, had the same talk. This isn't supremecy, this is reality, that blacks are a danger. This fact is well supported by evidence. We don't tell kids not to hang out with blacks because "they're the enemy" we tell white kids not to hang out with groups of random blacks because you're gonna get shot.
This is not just coming from whites either, multiple times living in Chicago wandering around I'd had some elderly black woman come up to me and very polietly tell me that I had wandered into some place that was dangerous to me and I should leave ASAP.
