sheriff, an elected official has the responsibility of upholding laws. when the mayor and city council are derelict, can he relieve them?

PD is a city department. but sheriff is independent.

i dont know. i'm wondering if there's a side run on these shitbags. and i'm just spitballing here... soros has been funding local politicians, but when it comes down to it, who can you identify as being an actual law man? accountable... with authority...

No, but a judge could issue a warrent for violating their oath of office and sheriff could carry it out. Then they would have their day in court
