Slight ironic he has the Buddhist Dharmachakra tattooed on his arm representing the Noble eight fold path and then choose to go out commit violence and reaps his Karma that very night... I hope they sew that stump to his fucking head. That 17 yr old is screwed for life now albeit he did make some big boy decisions that night.

Came here to ask if that was a Dharma wheel

And here I came to say it was a good thing he had that captains wheel tattooed on his arm because now he can right the course of his ship!

small AND fast!

VERY fast!

Typical 5.56 round is high velocity round and causes wound cavitation, very common in bullet impacts. Training in combat life saving teaches about it. Medium to high-velocity projectiles create a pressure wave forcing tissue out of the way, creating a cavity that can be much larger than the projectile

Sure but now we must know. M193 or M855?

M193.

855 is a compromise round created to improve barrier penetration (car bodies, walls, glass, etc) out of shorter 14.5" M4 carbines. Mostly its because the round stays together better than m193 which tends to shatter on contact with anything. 855 not an "armor penetrating" round. M193 has far superior soft tissue performance, especially out of longer barrels (20", but 18" works too).

That said, M193 is actually better at body armor penetration at close range because speed kills armor...not weight or round composition, m193 is faster, and "steel penetrators" are bullshit.

That wound is classic for what m193 does in soft tissue.

Didn't they come out with a newer one that does a bit better than 855? I'd go with 855 for the penetrator though.

Funny how they want socialized medicine but not communized medicine.

One means someone else pays for it, the other means a bullet.

Tomayto, tomahto.....but I guess he got both.

I just recently got my health insurance license. Insurance won't cover you if the injury occurred while you were breaking the law. Considering he had a gun in his hand while he was a convicted felon. That would be a crime. I would imagine the insurance will not cover the treatment to his wound.

Nah - he's freaking the fuck out right now because he's been forced to confront the consequences of his actions.

Although no doubt, in the not too distant future, he'll be getting his 'story' ghost written and lining up for the tonight shows ... assuming anyone is still watching them by then.
