This is like a CEO boycotting his own business. It makes no sense. The NBA and NBA fans already support BLM. What does it accomplish to boycott the people who are already on your side?

Dude - Boycotting will cure racism. It was always up to them, they finally just decided to do it. I am so thankful.
In order to raise awareness of racism, they should just cancel themselves permanently.

Make no mistake. This is cover for their bad ratings and popularity that fell off a cliff. They're hoping to avoid becoming a pariah. Their goal will be to come back from a hiatus with a clean slate in an attempt to win back the fan favor they lit on fire. All of the woke messaging will be gone.
