When you leave a date field empty in programming, it evaluates to Jan 1, 1970. Which if used to calculate his age, would make him 43 in 2013.
So his DOB was left out of that page. That's all that means.

The year is shown as 1993
They may have had the correct date of birth for him but the age calculation got fed a 0 instead of the actual date due to a programmer error. These things happen.
If the database has a default value for a date/timestamp field and it gets a 0 then it will use the UNIX birthday - 1970-01-01T00:00:00.000Z
