I really can't understand why everyone keeps calling what they do a "boycott".
They did not stop purchasing goods from a company, they stopped doing their job.
That's not a boycott, that's a strike.
Even though, technically, their employers are also agreeing with them, so, in a way they are condoning a behavior that is preventing the employers from honoring their contracts with the networks that are broadcasting the games.
Even though, the networks seem to be OK with that at the moment since it fits their leftist narrative. I'm not sure if this will still be the case when they see their numbers plummeting and their profits evaporate.
My only question though is this: is there a reason for the leftist propaganda to call this a boycott instead of a strike? Does boycott sound better? Or maybe calling it a strike would bring attention to the fact that people with 30+ million/year contracts are refusing to do their fucking jobs while trying to lecture hard-working, minimum-wage white people on why they are privileged?
