But it IS more genetic than environmental.
Environmental factors (nurture) can bump IQ points, but not to the degree that certain parts of the world need to join the 21st Century.
It's mostly genetics. Some of that is inbreeding in the muslim world. Some of it is lack of evolution for hundreds and thousands of years. This isn't hate or made up facts; there are just many, many generations of inbreeding and no progress.
There are also hormonal differences with certain cultures or "races" or "societies;" especially testosterone. There are differences in brain size. Differences in delayed gratification. Differences in high-level thinking and even things many would consider basic, such as "Cause and Effect."
Many people/cultures/races/societies simply have lower IQs. Many truly act on instinct and emotion with less higher-level thought than others.
There isn't anything "wrong" with having a low IQ. Nobody here hates people with low IQs. It's just the way it is. Facts.

There was a good article a few years ago about how tribal societies have a phase where new ideas and success are seen with envy by everyone else and this mindset stymies growth and selects against ingenuity and intelligence.
I can't seem to find it anymore but it was like "The green eye of envy and tribal societies" or something like that.
I saw one that made an argument about tribal people that lived near the equator were never forced to invent/create/develop because their current environment was essentially perfect. Peoples that moved farther away from the equator were forced to invent new ways to survive because of harsher and colder environments. I don't feel like these types of studies are meant to slight anyone but it sure seems to hurt peoples feelings. I think they're worth talking about. I think just about everything is worth talking about though.

(KNSI) - The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating a fatal incident downtown Wednesday afternoon.
Everything started outside Ramp A near Target Center just after 2:00 p.m., where police responded to a man who had been shot to death. Investigators say there was a dispute between three people in the ramp before the shooting. A man and woman fled the scene shortly after. The woman was taken into custody, and the man was later found in the 800 block on Nicollet Mall.

They've literally stolen mine and my sister's bikes before. We were about 3 and 5 years old as were the thieves.
Same happened to my friend. He worked a summer job for a new bike. Buys it. We literally ride it to Walmart to get a lock for it. Park it inside the garden center so nobody notices it. As soon as we're in the door, another group of kids walk up to the worker and tell him we stole the bike. Worker gives the kids the bike. They leave. A few minutes later in the store, we're approached by security and questioned.
The Police found the bike a few weeks later. Stripped down and repainted. Totally thrashed. Good times growing up.

Context: Guy wanted for murder offs himself while being pursued by police. Witnesses to the suicide still claim cops killed him and began looting nearby stores. City quickly releases footage showing that suspect did in fact kill himself and officers never fired their weapons. Probably won't matter because BLM only needs the flimsiest excuse to burn down cities and loot stores.
