It is actually the best predictor.

The murder rate in any given US city is more correlated to the percentage of the population that is black, than it is to the average income, density, or gun ownership.

What does that have to do with me? It may be a good predictor from that list but it would be wrong more often than not.

I don't have to account for other black people anymore than you have to account for other white people. I agree it's fucked up, how violent black people are as a population, but your data don't say anything about individual black people, only large groups.

I didn’t say it has anything to do with you. You’re right that data like this don’t tell you about individuals, they tell you about groups and theoretical ‘average’ persons. You likely aren’t average if you’re on here.

I'm not, in fact I'm mixed. I look black but grew up around white people so I wasn't infected by black American culture.

It's the culture that's rotten, not the genetics. We can change culture.

I hope Trump will have real school choice so black kids aren't indoctrinated by leftists teachers anymore. That's step one.

I grew up around conservatives so I know some things they don't teach in public schools:

  1. You judge a person by their character
  2. You should expect to work for what you want
  3. You should be a good community member (no excuse for crime)
  4. Everyone has obstacles, your success or failures only belong to you, fuck excuses
  5. The constitution is awesome.

Anyone can learn these things

Until they do learn those things, though, I’d prefer to keep my distance. It’s not my responsibility to fix anyone else’s shitty culture.
