As a hopefully future game developer I am shocked to see the depravity all across of the realm of IT. They renamed "master" from Github, they removed the term "slave/master" in the technical context, then they pushed that Marxist crap in games. Ironically CoD was quite based with the intro with Yuri Bezmenov, then they cucked in.
I guess it was all about having access to the juicy Chinese market...
I'm a seasoned Indie developer. Although I'm awful at monetizing my work and nurturing a community base, I am sure of two things: My games will never go woke, and I will never sell my work to Tencent or any other Chinese studio.

I can't stand Niantic. Husband and I used to play all the time because we both grew up with Pokemon and it was a fun incentive to explore our local areas. They just kept getting more and more cucked. I can't remember what the last straw for me was, but I haven't played in over a year.

Generally, I have no problem with historical-themed games taking creative license or portraying a completely alternate reality. But BFV had the nerve to alter historical events while portraying them as factual. Fans who criticized or even voiced concern about this were attacked and told their knowledge of history was wrong.
This is incredibly disrespectful to everyone who served or experienced the hardships of the war. Changing history to suit the political fads of the day.
Oh wow, I completely forgot about COD's 2017 WWII game. The funny thing is that Battlefield also blocks nazi symbols and lets you pick players that don't historically fit the conflict, so it didn't even register to me that you could be talking about a different game.
I made sure I spammed chat before and right after the match with "All Lives Matter". And as of last week, I have been advertising thedonald.win every game.
So many people I meet online in games or discord servers are sick of this crap. They get online to forget about their troubles and unwind for a couple hours only to get political bullshit rammed down their throats again. COD was the worst offender as it had an unskippable BLM screen before every single match.
This year has probably been the year with the most political awareness in history, covid and lockdowns and the riots and all that's going on has forced almost everyone, everywhere to pay attention and I hope to God that they figured out who's behind all this shit.

Sure it may be one reason, but "get woke, go broke" isn't about irritating Trump supporters so they boycott them. It's about the fact that when your push wokeness into a product it loses what appeal it had and becomes a bad product.
