it doesn't seem like this was a situation where an 18 year old had sex with his 17 year old girlfriend. It seems like it's either sex with someone under 15 years, or violent, non-consenting, sex (rape) with someone who is at least 15 but under the age of 18.
I just don’t know, but I can’t rule out that he was a senior and had sex with his 14 y/o freshman gf and she got pregnant and her parents pressed charges.
I held that opinion until more of the details were revealed. It is very unlikely that there was consent involved, and 14 is damn young. I remember when I was a senior in high school that girls who were just entering high school seemed like kids still.
