Another interesting facet of the 1972 election is that George Wallace ran on a segregationist platform... in the Democratic primary. But wait? What about the “party switch”? Why would Wallace try a racist platform in the 1972 Democrat primary if the parties “switched” over Nixon’s Southern Strategy in the 1960s?

I love to inform the retards who push that nonsense that if the party switch is real, their idol FDR was a Republican.

Spez: also, Nixon was a Democrat by the party switch logic. He was Eisenhower's VP.
