At 16 she got a tattoo artist boyfriend who was in his mid-20s. At 17 she got a fake ID and started working as a stripper. Six months later she was the most successful dancer there and was making $2000-$3000 a day, and one of her regular customers was Nicholas Cage. As soon as she turned 18 she started posing nude for men's magazines. At 19 she started doing hardcore pornography before becoming addicted to meth and nearly dying. After she was nursed back to health by her dad and grandmother, she decided to make it her mission to become the most famous porn star on the planet. So she called the president of a porn studio and signed a contract with them. But she really became famous when she started appearing as a guest on Howard Stern's radio show.
That's just an extremely brief skimming of maybe the first half of the book. It's got a lot of crazy stories in it. But it's not for the faint-hearted or prudish.
She also was sexually abused as a child. Plus gang raped as a young teen.
