Since around mid June after one fam and one f of f with pro BLM stuff: not a peep from anyone in my extended friends family on all the events. Prior to July 8th I had quite a few people linked- then I shut it all down but for a small inner circle.
This is either hardcore left liberals or unclear but likely vote Blue. And have had strong opinions on my lowkey stuff or independently prior. Now no posts at all.
On my other SM technically many of those same f/f follow and I follow them; I pull no punches vs run under the radar there, yet most fam silent there too. My daughter posts silly girl word memes and firefighter stuff and one ext fam is clearly struggling with sobriety issues and posts erratically.
It is quite notable the lack of any online posts or even just commenting on anything societal or political or big events wise. They have been moderately pushback to aggressively so to even early June.
