I'm a tournament poker player but when I used to go degen on table games I played the positive progression which is the inversion of martingale. Increase bets as you win by 50 percent and when you lose you reset back to the initial bet.

Lol. I was making my living playing poker and it just became so miserable. Dealing with whiny degens and being around them all day long. And your not really producing anything of value. I actually loved the long slow grind of tourney poker and can understand how you need that edible to stay interested lol

Also I knew a poker dealer that was capable of stacking the deck for those bad beats and that is one reason I stayed off those cash tables.
