It's absolutely true. I just reviewed each shooting at 0.25 speed.
It happens in between skater fag and "medic" fag. Kyle transitions from skater fag to medic fag because of the pistol in his right hand, fires, nothing happens. Medic fag freezes, realizing Kyle shot at him but nothing happened. Kyle then clearly takes his shooting (right) hand off the pistol grip, racks the charging handle, and then transitions his hand back. Medic fag, thinking he has a chance to shoot Kyle during the hasty SPORTS drill, starts to point pistol at him and Kyle let's it rip.
Kyle definitely wins the award for "Operator as fuck!"
