Hell in the Army one of our Platoon Sgts was this short portly old fucker, with this awful high pitched nasaly voice - but he was 2nd Degree BJJ black belt, competed for the Army Boxing and BJJ team and had like 4 deployments under his belt. Actually a beast of a man.
The good news is that while the next few months will be shit-filled for him, his long range future is assured. Any number of possibilities from legit public service/office, to a position in a based company. Who would NOT want to hire that young man? And he's only going to get better.
Even the most skilled among us have stumbled upon luck that has saved our ass. Without some skill you would have never reached that luck. But yes this kid had a miracle run of something. If not that, then he's the Forrest Gump of urban combat.
Sorry to say, but the enemy is within. The republic needs patriots to defend homes and streets. We can't spare Kyle to run some war overseas. Cause you see... it appears that we have no one else, well some armored cars to supply water maybe.
