I seriously had the longest twitter conversation with an ignorant Democrat, asking her to just look at this short video arguing that it’s very clear that Kyle Rittenhouse was using self defense against a mob of (what ended up being) convicted criminals, sex offenders, and felons chasing him. She absolutely would not have it, and was very open about her willingness to be ignorant and not look at any evidence that might challenge her preformulated political narratives.
These people are demoralized. It does not matter the red pill you offer them, if it doesn’t provide the confirmation bias for the evil Neomarxist worldview with which they’ve been indoctrinated, they willingly put their fingers in their ears and scream like autistic children, clinging to their narratives over truth, even as their cities devolve into chaos and anarchy, all the while demanding their government take away the law enforcement protecting them, ushering in their own destruction.

Same here friend. My friend responded to my postings in support of Kyle and all he could focus on was Kyle prior toxication with a firearm as like 13 years old. She called me out for posting the assailants' criminal history. Saying I couldn't have it both ways. So I asked him I could set aside both of these prior criminal histories and ask ourselves who was in the wrong? The young man who is legally allowed to carry a firearm and is on tape defending himself? Or the three felon, several of them were in possession of a firearm which would be legal, and are on tape from multiple angles attacking him while he's trying to escape?
This is actually one of my more intelligent critically thinking friends which really disturbed me.
I asked him this simple question: regardless about how he feels about Kyle's open carrying at 17 years old, (and he used hyperbolic arguments with no footing, claiming Kyle went there with a gun thinking he was a cop blah blah to instigate and agitate, which he wasn't) would those three men still be alive if they had attacked him?
My man basically said it's Kyle's fault for having a gun and being there. I finally said we can agree to disagree because this is the same guy who said Ahmed Aubrey was a victim

Among faithful or Orthodox people who actively live a religious life and attend religious services, there are many more conservatives and pro-lifers in both groups. My family is Jewish. We’re non-orthodox. The only time we go to Synagogue is for weddings and bar mitzvahs. My father has always voted Republican and loves Trump. I was an Obama voter (sorry!) who turned to Trump in 2016 (Yay!). My sister is non political. Never votes at all. My mother is a life long Democrat. She said to me last week that she’s not voting for Biden or any Democrat down ticket for the first time in her life. She’s not sure yet whether she’ll vote for Trump or just not vote at all, but she said the recent BLM violence has really turned her off to the Dems and she can’t vote for a party that supports it. I’ll take a non-vote as a win, but I’m trying to convince her to vote for Trump.
The point is - don’t give up on us Jews yet. I think more and more are liking what Trump is doing, or at the very least, hating what the Dems are doing. The majority will unfortunately still vote Biden, but turning just a few percentage points of votes can make a difference.

Well, if this helps, Bush Sr. was an Episcopalian (Anglican), Bush Jr. is a Methodist, and Ted Cruz is a Baptist. You can tell a little about each denomination by those guys, though they don't epitomize them.
Methodists are also pretty wide-ranging, going from raving loony leftist to about even with conservative Baptists, but they're about to formalize a split between those groups.
(However, Jimmy Carter was a Baptist, too. He's just one of the people who are turning the Southern Baptist Convention into another leftist mechanism.)

I went to my childhood synagogue a few years ago. There was a woman Rabbi. I went on Yom Kippur. Big fast day where you atone for the sins of the community. She spend her little speech... bashing Walmart for not paying a high enough wage.
I once was invited to attend a Yom Kippur services in a reform temple. At one point I was flipping through the prayer book (it was called a Siddur) and there were "religious" songs in the back. One of them... shit you not... "O Canada!"
Speaking generally, if you are religious, even as a non-Jew, and would like to experience worship of G-d in a Jewish shul. Go to a Chabad or Orthodox. MAYBE a Conservative temple in a POLITICALLY conservative geographic area. You can experience reverence and tradition and worship without understanding a single word.
If you attend reform you're likely to have a "Rabbi" that moonlights as a "Elder Witch Against Patriarchy" and marches with NAMBLA.
I love Chabad. Became friendly with the one in my old hometown. He used to have Shabbat services out of his house. I'd bring my very young daughter and she'd play with his children in the back yard. And after the service was a meal, and I liked to come up with some tough questions for him. (Some of his answers were better than others.)

Obligatory am Jewish - I dont understand how fellow Jews can continue to vote for democrats after this last election. The Marxists have expressed their absolute disdain for Israel and Jews alike. They deface temples and draw swastikas on Jewish cemeteries. They want the destruction of Israel via the BDS movement, meanwhile Trump has moved the Israeli US embassy to Jerusalem in a symbolic show of national friendship and recognition of their sovereignty. Trump created a peace agreement between Israel and the UAE, a historic document. Yet, self loathing Jews are still anti-Trump. The man has done nothing but have the backs of the Jewish people, but many of the Jewish communities in NY/NJ where I'm from are blinded by the media narrative that Trump is Hitler 2.0... I don't understand it. You can't fix stupid.
