Stockholm Syndrome. Holding the position of a pulpit Rabbi does not verify ones virtue or wisdom any more than being a pastor. Their are many people who are unworthy of their positions

in Reform synagogues a lesbian woman can be a Rabbi. Pretty soon a dog or a monkey will be able to hold the position as well. It's kind of a joke. Let's just say American rabbies have "changed".
