My cousin tried to give his son everything he needed to be the success he could not be. My cousin, who I worked with for about ten years, works in heavy construction in the southwest. Rain, shine, 120 degree heat and even with a broken foot he shows up to work 5am. His son was a good student, grew up only making a few dumb decisions but was a pretty good, smart kid. He went to university with an academic scholarship, but decided he would rather play Xbox and smoke weed than study, and dropped out after a year, scraping by working some menial job. He posts socialism bullshit on his Facebook page a few times a day, complaining and supporting Bernie because he would give him some free money, I never made a single comment to him about it because I need to have a good Facebook presence for my business.

He is so convinced that he is right and that the revolution is imminent. He was whining about it at a family dinner and my grandmother, his great grandmother, 90 years of age, asked him if that was why he hasn't done anything in his life for two years. I laughed, he got pissy.

So of course Burn Loot Murder starts their shit and he decides to go to the riot, because he believes the lie, threw rocks and got arrested and charged with assault of a police officer. Now he will never be anything, ever.

I can't imagine the shame my cousin must feel, his son was the picture of golden opportunity, smart, healthy, nuclear family who loved him, but his mind was poisoned by the radicals running the schools, and now he's a criminal. Even if the charges are dropped he will never have a security clearance, never be trusted, never really be anything. Get used to a shovel in your hands, kid, mom and dad tried to give you a better life and you didn't want it.

Where's your revolution now, you idiot?

Equating all religions is the same as equating all economic systems. And, just like with economic systems, one of them is true and works and the others fall short in one way or another.

College was the worst experience of my life, 4 years of listening to bullshit masked communism, and this was right before Obummer too office. From what I see now it's 10x worse.

Not anymore- BLM is actually providing CONTENT to public schools across the nation. The history books are full of purposeful errors, common core removes all logic from math, phonics from reading, the scientific method and critical thinking from science and writing, God from everything, and independent thought from children's heads.

They're prepped to hate themselves, their ancestors, families and everything good before high school. HOMESCHOOL!!!

Actions = consequences. Always. Your cousin now has learned this. What he does with the lesson will make or break his future. Prayers for him and those who care for him.

He hasn't stayed at my cousin's house for years. He scrapes up enough rent to get by every month, just barely. Picture perfect democrat voter, his only responsibility is scraping up that $1000 or so that it takes to keep a roof over his head, everything else is just gravy.

The concept of universal free money is funny because money only has value if people are willing to work for it. A dollar is just social credit exchangeable for goods or services.

What lefties want is for other people to keep working while they enjoy a lifelong childhood of perpetual privilege.

He wrote- university. Americans don't call it that- unless they're trying to be a hipster Euro or something. He also wrote - southwest and not the actual state.

He went to university

Americans don't phrase it that way.

No, my cousin was there the whole time, he's a no nonsense guy. Kid just bought the lie that if you vote for Bernie you can get whatever you want, and that rich people are the reason why the poor are poor.

He wanted to be accepted by a group and saying what they wanted to hear was the mechanism.

I know a top level physicist (the real deal, not just some magazine article writer) with an IQ that's one in millions who has fallen into the same trap.

It's not an intelligence thing, or a based-on-facts thing, or a can-be-reasoned-with thing... it's a primal thing, and literally impossible for some people to override.

Two million years of humans ONLY being able to survive in groups made it so.

Smart people don't need to be motivated by something as trivial as money to do great things. If the world was entirely populated with well-adjusted geniuses things like laws would be completely unnecessary, but it isn't, and people need incentives. That's what society is for, to provide incentive and to do good and punish people who prey on the society.

Smart has nothing to do with wise. Character, conscience, conviction-> purpose. Without core beliefs, there is no purpose, and relativism, hedonism, etc take over easily. When the person finds no happiness there, he blames and hates, especially against anyone who is happy.

College, as soon as I read it I knew what had happened. People go to college and do not realize they are going to war with their mind. Everything about that place is designed to break you from what you were as a child, destroy it, and turn you into a nihilistic zombie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cj6agdXN-O4

Schools, teachers, brainwashing.

It saddens me tremendously that good hardworking American families are losing their children because they trust the schools and the teachers.

So sad. This could have been any of our family. The indoctrination is strong.

Did your cousin sit down with his son and talk to him about the radicalization that he would face in college?

I sat down with my sister's kids (high school and middle school age) last night and we had a long, three hour conversation about inter-sectional politics and the state of the far left.

They never would have known about it because my sister and her husband do not pay any attention what-so-ever to anything political. They didn't even know that riots had been happening in Kenosha for the previous three nights and barely knew about the "protests" in Portland. Those kids would have been blind sided by the indoctrination once they got to college if I hadn't had that talk.

He's told him many times that this lunacy he supports has been tried and failed many times. I've tried to explain to him that he's wrong, I didn't belittle him or get angry, I used historical data and examples, but he doesn't want to hear it. Saint Bernie would make sure everything was fine.

1
Former_RM2 1 point ago +1 / -0

Did those conversations happen before he went off to college?

2
MaoHatesSparrows [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

I never talked to him about politics before he went to college, I did tell him about pitfalls and how to get help from professors, to keep his nose clean, but it didn't work, clearly.

Personally, I blame his girlfriend.

I disagree. I thought he did something very important with his life. He is part of the useless idiot protestors that are going to get Trump elected. He is part of something greater. This BLM movement, or the destroy the democratic party forever movement is doing great things.

Please be sure, when Trump wins, to thank him for his service.
