Once more, as likely the longest mma fan here on this entire forum (please hit me up if you go back before 1998 in following UFC live under the SEG banner), anyone who knows the story of MMA knows the story of how John McCain was the worst thorn in the evolution of the sport going as far to lie completely and exaggerate claims of violence and human cock fighting (having not even watched a single match, only Tank Abbott highlights on a vcr loop) while not even acknowledging that there was a referee. He did this all for political gain and reelection and somehow snuck in the backdoor of being appreciated by newer mma fans, to which it has been my ongoing goal to educate people on how evil John McCain was for the sport, just ask ANYONE from that era). Dana White is a brash, capitalist, passionate, American loving leader who changed the face of MMA for the better, whether you like him or not, he did what he did for the better of his sport and company, which sure as fuck reminds me of our GEOTUS

Got you, saw UFC 2 live (well, on cable). Pat Smith beating the shit out of that ninja guy Scott something was a level of violence you’d never see today — back in the headbutt ‘em and punch ‘em in the nuts days.

Joe Son Do! I’ve read all the books from Clyde Gentry to Big John McCarthy's, the latter being more revealing in that McCain never even knew he existed, and BJM is a pretty hard guy to miss in a cage with only two other people, yet still proceeded to go forward with a false narrative that would make the Charlottesville Hoax look smart by comparison

Back then I just naively attributed it to McCain being a big boxing fan and not wanting the competition — now of course I know better, McCain was corrupt as hell.
