Not sure we should be criticizing Breonna Taylor, she didn't do anything wrong besides dating a scumbag, and there's a fair argument to be made about plainclothes police conducting raids. It's ridiculous to suggest the officers involved should be charged though.

Breonna Taylor associated with and ferried messages for drug dealers, allowed them to receive packages at her address and was repeatedly seen parked outside of a known drug den. The police had a legitimate reason and a warrant to search her home. They knocked (the boyfriend admits that they knocked), they were shot at and they returned fire.

Did Breonna Taylor deserve to die? I don't know enough about her as a person to say, but I will say that she was not murdered. Also, quite a few unarmed white people have been killed during actual no knock raids, so I'm not sure why Breonna Taylor's race is even relevant to whether or not she was murdered.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they didn't search her home, did they? They went to her boyfriend's place where she was spending the night to look for one of his criminal associates who they incorrectly believed was hiding out there. The police did knock, true, but they weren't in uniform, which I think is a legitimate issue that might need to be changed. I mean if someone busted into your home in the middle of the night in street clothes, would you hold your fire just because they claimed to be police? Because anyone could do that.

Ultimately though I'm glad we all agree that the police involved shouldn't be arrested or charged for murder as they were following the legal procedures and only returned fire after they were shot at.

It was her home.

Her address was listed on the search warrant based on police's belief that Glover had used her apartment to receive mail, keep drugs or stash money. The warrant also stated that a car registered to Taylor had been seen parked on several occasions in front of a "drug house" known to Glover.

I tend to agree, but the inanity of the situation remains. They twist the truth/eliminate aspects of her story for an agenda. Or they do it mindlessly, like the NHL here.

I really don’t know enough about Breonna Taylor but given what’s come out about Floyd and Blake, I’m operating under the assumption everything we’ve been told about her case is also a complete lie.
