As someone who was bussed to a majority black school for 10years I could write an entire book on black fragility.

you can't say that and NOT give a few anecdotes or stories.

Our school colors were navy blue and gold. One year during homecoming week I used a friends blue body paint to paint my face blue. During my American History class a black girl I'll call Becky had a fit and started crying saying I was in black face and left the room and went straight to the principal and told them I was mocking her and tried to get me expelled. They made me wash it off even though only an hour was left in the day and threaten to put me in ISS for 3 days if I didn't.

They were laughing at her. She was always a drama queen. She got into an argument with the teacher once over the terms mongoloid, caucasoid and negroid. She was trying to explain how negroid was racist and should be banned. I've got some that are worse. The first time I saw a teacher leave a room unsupervised while in tears was in the 5th grade. It happened a lot because they were so wild.

and I'm guessing that saying "its one of the schools colors" didn't matter to them at all did it?

Our principal told me that it didn't matter because it caused a disturbance in the class room.
