I recently went to buy my first gun. I was never against guns, just didn't feel like I needed one... while I was there, i asked about the NRA. The shop owner told me that the NRA never did shit for him and that he had never heard about them going to bat for anyone, either. I was denied THE RIGHT to own a gun :( Learned I could still have one in my house but, that's not what I want. I want my CONSTITUTIONAL right to buy and own a gun.

This is why I hate Sunday Gunday....

Why were you denied? Criminal history? Or what?

They don't give you a reason. Apparently there's a form for that. I went to jail, literally on my 18th birthday. The charge was "conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance". I was very young and was told that after 7 years, it would be expunged. So, while i can vote now, I guess that's not good enough to have the right to own a gun. I'll figure it out eventually.

Just takes money. Hire a lawyer to review it and push for it. Your state will never be in a hurry to file expungement papers unless their hand is forced. Getting off the gun ban list is difficult.
