Someone explained it to me this way; It’s what happens when you lose all of those fighting men, and then over a generation or two, who’s left but the weak and everyone else who stayed behind and didn’t fight. McConnell has done plenty that's a problem. Example; he absolutely did not have to give any attention or credence to the bs articles of shampeachment. Could've stamped them "expired" and moved onto serious business. Which at the time was the beginning stages of CCPvirus.
Because I live in MA and it's extremely difficult here. Not only that, I have been labeled with mental health issues since I was 5 years old (ADHD and Anxiety Disorder) so I highly doubt I would be allowed to get a firearm.
Especially with the gun shortages, it can take months to get a permit, than a while to find a gun once you have one. If there comes a time when you need it, you could end up waiting 4 to 5 months till you can get it
And see if your state has a good 2A organization. Mine has a very good one.
When I talk to people at the range, I recommend GOA, then my state org, then SAF and JPFO, and finally NRA. (Under certain circumstances, I bump the NRA up higher on the list for reasons that I won't repeat here because I hate reading threads where some guys makes basically the same comment 20 times.)

I can relate, I didn't want to own a gun, but wanted the ability to get one if i needed one.
Unfortunately, thats not possible in California so you're required to stock up and buy well before you need it.
