I'm uplifted by all the support the kid is getting and praying he gets off as he should, but just want to point out a reality: the process itself is a means of punishment. Leftists being able to selectively press charges and subject innocent people to the rigors of the legal system like this is part of how they exercise power and intimidate the population.
