On almost every discussion I read about Kyle someone brings up "property over life" as if that is some huge point that proves Kyle was wrong.
At what point does destruction of businesses and livelihoods transcend just property damage and cross over into ruining someone's ability to provide for themselves. Yea, if you are subsisting off government assistance you probably don't care as your next handout will always be there. But, for businesses running thin profits, barely scrapping by as the various governments tell them what they can and can't do, and now having to deal with this. It will put people who just want to work hard and offer a basic business under.
So yea, maybe your phone isn't as valuable as someone's life, maybe even you car. But, if you want to destroy my property to the extent that I can't make rent the next month, that I can't send my kids to college or afford to put food on the table or pay my employees, your life doesn't weigh that much.
He was protecting his own life, that much is clear. The fact that he was attacked for defending peoples homes and businesses is irrelevant.
He was attacked.
He defended his life.
The pedos shot first.
