Anybody can say their fundraiser is the one the family authorized. Why the hell would the family authorize a fundraiser that doesn't mention Kyle or any plans to forward any funds to him or to his attorneys? These are not his attorneys. He is charged with first degree murder. He needs criminal defense attorneys, not civil defamation attorneys.

It does seem like it could be legit, but it is new - i'll keep watching for updates and when they put up a link on their site that mentions him then i'm all in.

It's a scam. Lin Wood is not representing Kyle, though he (or someone posing as him) is trying to create that impression.
