Just 4 hours before this tweet, neither Lin Wood nor John Pierce had even managed to get contact information for Kyle or his parents: https://twitter.com/LLinWood/status/1299018002449477632 yet Wood was already announcing that:

My colleague at #FightBack Foundation John Pierce has assembled legal team to defend Kyle Rittenhouse. They need to be retained by Rittenhouse family so we need family contact info. They are prepared to fly out tonight. Please DM contact info to me or John at @CaliKidJMP . https://twitter.com/LLinWood/status/1298983740345999360

So neither of them had even made contact with the family, but they were already telling the world that they had "assembled at legal team" to defend Kyle, and insisting that this team "need to be retained by the Rittenhouse family", and that they were "prepared to fly out tonight."

This is how self-promoting, self-serving attorneys operate. They are trying to convince the general public that they are highly respected attorneys who are frequently hired to represent very high-profile defendants, and that they have some unique ability to help defend Kyle, and are in talks with lots of famous people about it. This helps them recruit lots of ordinary clients and charge them very high rates, even though the clients would likely be much better off with different and cheaper attorneys.

What really bugs me about all the pedes falling for this, is that it's exactly the same method used by Antifa/BLM to convince millions of Americans that police brutality targeting black people is a huge problem. All those Americans know that police are constantly going around killing black people "in cold blood" and not being "brought to justice" for these crimes. They "know" this because self-promoting politicians and professors and attorneys tell them so, and they see no need to go dig up objective facts from independent sources before believing the narrative. That's what Lin Wood and his pal John Pierce are doing: crafting a narrative, to take advantage of a large group of people who are eager to believe anyone who claims to be on their side.

Ok, thats your opinion and it is very well thought through. May be even correct, but you don't see behind the curtain either. And to deport me because we don't agree is a bit rich isn't it? Should i deport you as well then?

I have never deported anyone's comment or post because I didn't agree with them. I have deported all the posts/comments I've seen for any fundraiser for Kyle, not just this one (and previously fundraisers for other people in the news) because TD.win has a policy of not allowing any fundraisers to be posted. And it's a really good policy, because virtually all of them are either completely fraudulent or self-serving schemes designed to help the organizer more than the stated beneficiary. I don't like seeing anyone scammed out of their money, and I especially don't like seeing people in situations like Kyle's being exploited by people trying to make money off some kind of association with them.

I can hit the deport button all day long, but only the mods can actually delete a post or comment. They delete everything I report, occasionally put a comment of their own on the thread before locking it, and have encouraged me via DM to keep reporting fundraiser links. I agree they need to make this policy much clearer. Most people posting fundraiser links seem genuinely unaware of the policy.

I get what you are saying and you are right about the policy of course. I did forgot it when i posted the link.

Checked back on the website - now they have their faces on and proper contact information and a disclaimer.

I don't think they are a scam .. lets hope not but we will see.
