Someone else said it so I'm not going to take credit, but the pacing was so much better than in the past. Less dead air, pundits interjecting their bullshit opinions, opportunistic clingers, and just more straight to the point. Trump and company know how to work TV, and their plan this year was fucking spot on.
Basically, they forced the red pills down everyone's goddamn throats, and it was glorious.
Past conventions were primarily concerned with throwing a party for the inner party and the VIPs. COVID-19 made that unlikely so each party had to respond.
Democrats just didn't care. They just tossed their boilerplate blather that they'd have done otherwise up on Zoom and left it at that. The GOP decided to make it a virtual campaign. To make a show of it. They gave the rank and file something.
Yeah the only part I found lacking was Diamond and Silk. Way too brief, and restricted to only pimping their new book. They are a powerhouse ! Other than that it was awesome AF
